Junior Web Developer (m/f/x)

Starting your career in an agile environment with modern headless techstack (javascript, typescript, nuxt.js, vue.js) and the option to work fully remote? Here you go: As a Junior Web Developer (m/f/x), you'll develop and maintain frontend web applications with our international dev team in a thriving eCommerce environment. Development challenges can be tackled with our experienced lead developer, who will offer dev coaching first hand.

Note: This position can be fulfilled either in Cologne / Darmstadt (where our two offices are located), hybrid in mix of office & working from home or fully remote within germany.

• Software Development Life Cycle: Active participation in the software development life cycle by developing new features and maintaining web applications including planning, implementation and testing. Focus is front-end development

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely and effectively with other developers and stakeholders, with a special focus on the marketing and design team, to ensure the achievement of the objectives

• Testing: Realize automatic A/B testing in our webshop by ensuring correct implementation to obtain valid results while guaranteeing all critical functions and processes

• Agility: Gain experience in agile software development with daily scrums, reviews and retrospectives including individual 1o1 with our lead developer

• You are in hold of an academic background in software development, informatics or similar

• You have gained at least 1+ years of practical relevant experience in software development (frontend, backend or fullstack); eCommerce and start-up background is a plus

• You feel comfortable in the frontend environment, preferably with knowledge in Javascript, although you are not afraid to take responsibility within the full stack (php preferable)

• You must have an eager-to-learn attitude and a growth mindset, which drives you to embrace new challenges and seek continuous improvement

• You describe yourself as analytical as well as proactive and self-responsible

• You are business fluent in English. German language skills are a plus
