International E-Commerce Manager (m/f/x)

Note: This position can be fulfilled either in Cologne / Darmstadt (where our two offices are located), hybrid in mix of office & working from home or fully remote from Germany. We offer relocation support! 

Are you eager to drive Ergotopias international e-commerce growth and establish a strong market presence? As International E-Commerce Manager (m/f/x), you'll drive our expansion into new markets, identifying promising opportunities and laying the groundwork for international success. Following this mission, you will dive into strategic platform testing, identifying optimal entry points for rapid expansion. This includes targeted tests in countries such as Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Belgium. Additionally, you'll focus on strengthening our presence in France.

• Ownership International: You'll drive our international expansion strategy, focusing on strategically evaluating new markets based on data-driven analysis to identify further expansion opportunities

• France Expansion: You'll support our efforts to expand significantly in the french market with focus on both revenue and ebit

• Growth: You'll acquire in-depth market knowledge and analyse growth opportunities, while strategically exploring countries like Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Belgium via platforms, such as Amazon, to identify rapid expansion entry points

• Strategy: You’ll establish and coordinate country-specific marketing and sales strategies through effective cross-functional collaboration, including different marketplaces and country specific webshops

• Monitoring: You’ll continuously optimize our international product portfolio, content, and operational processes based on customer feedback

• You have a strong academic background in economics, business administration, management or similar from a top tier university with exceptional achievements

• You have gained at least 1+ years of relevant practical business experience with a focus on Marketing, E-Commerce and Start-Ups

• You demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, a high sense of responsibility and a strong bias to action

• You have strong analytical skills with a focus on KPIs and data-driven decision making

• You bring excellent project management skills and demonstrate a solution-oriented, pragmatic approach to the way you work

• You master an independent business approach, while being a communicative team player at the same time

• You are business fluent in English and one other language such as French, Spanish or Italian. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required, knowledge of German is a plus
